4 State Trucks Brick and Mortar Store in Joplin, Missouri at Night

4 State Trucks is home of the Chrome Shop Mafia - the largest custom fabrication shop in Southwest Missouri, and the hosts of the largest truck show in Missouri (GBATS). The company has been in the business of selling truck parts and accessories since its start in 1979. Founded by the great uncle and father of current owners Bryan and Bryce Martin, 4 State Truck Parts has seen numerous iterations and transformations over the years.

The History Behind the Brand

It actually began as an International truck parts dealership, but quickly morphed into "4 State Trucks Inc.", offering replacement mechanical parts to a wide array of truck make/models. Over time, inventory expanded to include non-mechanical exterior chrome upgrades: exhaust kits, bumpers, visors, and more. The company remains headquartered where it all began - in Joplin, Missouri - trucker central.

Today, this small town has well over 15 trucking companies operating within it. And with so much heavy traffic flow, there were (and still are) plenty of big rigs breaking down on the roadside, and plenty more truckers willing to sell their worn-down rig instead of paying for high-cost repairs and replacement parts. This happened so frequently that by 1989, 4 State Trucks became a salvage yard alongside a brick and mortar shop. Eventually, the salvage yard got sold off (2016) in order to focus on wholesale ship-to-order chrome parts, like their in-house brands: BESTfit Collision Parts and Aftermarket Truck Parts.
